Serving sizes are generous, when eating in the winter season they decorate nicely. Service is also friendly and patient.

I will definitely be returning to try many more items. I bought two egg rolls and did not open the bag and look at them before I.Left the store. When I got in my car and got down the road, then open the bag, they were huge. These egg rolls were literally the largest egg rolls i've ever received from any of the restaurants in Springfield that I have eaten at. The taste was amazing The outside was crunchy, while the inside was perfect. Great job Canton in keep up the good work. I hope everything else that I try is as good as your egg rolls.

This place is simply awesome. Prices are unbeatable and it’s the best cashew chicken I have had in the Springfield area. Such a great little Chinese spot for an unbeatable price.

I walked in at 10 minutes to closing. They were very nice even though they were about to close. I ordered the cashew chicken and crab rangoon. I watched them drop the rangoon into the fryer. Everything tasted great like it was just made even though it was the end of the day. The sauce tasted very good and they give you a lot of it.

My parents brought me here back in 1997 , the day they brought me home from the hospital. 27 years of the same , delicious food and amazing service . I live states over , and I still find time to pop in here from time to time. Best cashew chicken, and the ONLY place with good sweet and sour. Chilton approved!

When people come to Springfield, Missouri and get wind of cashew chicken, they hear about “Leongs”. Now, no disrespect on Leongs, but Canton Inn has perfected the dish as well as made it affordable. I have lived in Springfield my entire life, and have eaten at nearly every Chinese restaurant available. Canton Inn is superior. They are down-to-earth, no frill, high quality American-Chinese food genius’s. For one, the atmosphere is nostalgic and warm. The yellow building adorned with a black and red sign just speaks of the longevity of the establishment (please never change it). Next, it travels well. I remember my parents bringing home Canton and it still being fresh and fantastic. Now, most importantly, the flavor! The sauce is dark, thick and so flavorful. Many local places have a thin, light colored sauce that is too heavy on the oyster. Canton Inn has created something truly special. It doesn’t taste fake and boring. It is perfect. The rice is the best in town. It doesn’t taste like plastic. It is fresh and extremely flavor bursting with onion and soy flavor. The egg rolls are PACKED! And fried to perfection. And my personal favorite aside from the premier dish? THE CRAB RANGOON! Ughh finally, crab rangoon that isn’t sweet without the sauce. Perfectly fried with the perfect salty cream cheese and crab flavor that feels oh, so right. Please visit canton inn! You won’t regret it. Besides their cashew chicken, they have a much higher quality tasting general and sesame chicken. Totally unlike the fast-food quality dishes their contemporaries serve.

WONDERFUL! One of the BEST Chinese around with pretty good prices! Crab Rangoons CANT BE BEAT! Good options for eating, got the General Chicken and rice WORTH IT! Restaurant was ok but food was amazing!
